Nationwide Insurance agents will bring two driving simulators and the NASCAR Nationwide Series show car to the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show.
The safe-driving driving simulator will allow drivers to experience firsthand the dangers of texting while driving in a controlled environment. The NASCAR simulator allows visitors to test their racing skills in conditions that mimic the race track experience – complete with competitors and near-crashes.
“Our agents are delighted to return to the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show and to bring two simulators for visitors to test drive,” said Brian O’Dell, Regional Vice President for the Northeastern States Region of Nationwide Insurance. “We continue to see the need for people to see how texting while driving hampers their driving ability and the company remains committed to making the roads safer for all drivers.”
“The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show is a great opportunity for us to spread the safety message,” Nationwide agent Randy Crane said.
The Nationwide booth with the safety simulator will be located inside the front door of Stabler Arena, next to the Pennsylvania State Police booth. Nationwide and the State Police have partnered to bring the “texting while driving” experience to Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show visitors.
The NASCAR Nationwide Series show car will be displayed on the arena grounds.
“The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show is a great opportunity for us to spread the safety message,” Nationwide agent Randy Crane said. “The simulators let visitors have two experiences that can help them understand the dangers of distracted driving. We are looking forward to a great event.”
The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show is open to the public March 22-25 at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here.
